Filmin Konusu:
Bir tenis maçında topun çizgiye yaklaştığı anlar vardır. Biraz da şansın yardımıyla top içeri düşebilir ve kazanırsın… Ya da ileri gider ve kaybedersin… Gerçek bu kadar basit midir? Bir tenisçi olan Chris hayatı boyunca şansı yaver gittiği için kıskanılmıştır. Özellikle en yakın arkadaşı Tom’un kız kardeşi Chloe ile evlenmeye kalkıp büyük bir servetin ortaklarından biri olma şansını yakalayınca... Chris’in hayatının en mutlu günleri olması gereken evlilik aşamasında hayaller, Tom’un rüyaları bile süsleyecek derecede güzel nişanlısı ile tanışınca sona erer. Hayranlık kısa süre sonra takıntı boyutunda tutkuya dönüşecek ve Chris’i zor bir seçime zorlayacaktır. Woody Allen’ı Büyük Elma’nın dışına çıkarmayı başarmış olan Maç Sayısı, usta yönetmenin tamamını Londra'da çekmiş olduğu ilk film olma özelliği de taşıyor.
